MIC sets up Study Group on High-Speed Power Line Communications




The MIC, in investigating the possibilities and conditions for power line communication's coexistence with radio use (power line communications that enable high-speed communications with increased usable frequencies), has set up the Study Group on High-Speed Power Line Communications.

Topics for investigation:
(1) Technology for reducing radio wave leakage
(2) Possibilities and conditions for coexistence with radio use
(3) Other related topics

Timing:
The first meeting will be held on January 31, 2005, and the findings are to be compiled by October 2005.
