Foundation of an Investigation Team concerning Ideas for the Use of New Radio Waves


The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has founded the Investigation Team concerning Ideas for the Use of New Radio Waves to investigate the effective use of white space and other radio waves.

Purpose

Advancements in new radio wave use systems and services is expected to solve various local problems by the use of radio waves as a means to transmit information. On the other hand, radio waves are a limited resource and in order to improve convenience for citizens effective use of white space and new radio waves is necessary. The use of these radio waves is also thought to contribute to domestic economic development and the creation of new employment and industry.
The investigation team will formulate specific recommendations for how to effectively use these new radio waves based on the points described above.
