The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has created the Frequency Reorganization Action Plan (January 2010 Proposal Revised Edition) to revise the Frequency Reorganization Action Plan (November 2008) in order to steadily and smoothly reorganize the frequencies based on the evaluation results of the 2008 Radio Wave Usage Conditions Survey (frequency bands below 770MHz, July 2009) and New Radio Industry Creation Strategy (July 2009).
Therefore, public comments will be accepted from Friday, November 27 to Monday, December 28, 2009 regarding this proposal.
Background and Purpose
The MIC has formulated, revised and published the Frequency Reorganization Action Plan each year since 2004 to express concrete activities for the steady and smooth reorganization of frequencies based on the results of the Radio Wave Usage Conditions Survey.
The Frequency Reorganization Action Plan (November 2008 Revised Edition) will be revised based on the evaluation results of the 2008 Radio Wave Usage Conditions Survey (frequency bands below 770MHz, July 2009) and New Radio Industry Creation Strategy (July 2009).
