The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has today received a verdict from the Information and Communications Agency and Postal Services Council (Chairman: Atsushi Takahashi, President of Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co., Ltd.) stating that the subsidy amount and issuing method based on the Telecommunications Business Act (1984 Law No.86), Article 109 Paragraph 1 provision, along with the approval of the contribution amount and collection method based on the same Act Article 110 Paragraph 2 provision (October 27, 2009 Information and Communications Agency and Postal Services Council Inquiry No. 3015) are appropriate as stated in the inquiry.

Upon receiving the verdict, the MIC will move quickly to approve these matters.
