Solicitation for Applications to be a Support Organization for Viewers of Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting


The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) is inviting organizations to implement transmission and reception environment maintenance projects for the complete transition to digital terrestrial broadcasting in the fiscal 2010 budget as the complete transition to digital terrestrial broadcasting approaches on July 24, 2011.

On July 24, 2011, analog terrestrial broadcasting will end and a complete transition to digital terrestrial broadcasting will be made. For a successful transition, it is essential that all people fully understand how to respond to such a move and steadily prepare the environment to receive such broadcasts.
