The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) is recruiting NPOs, the retired elderly, parents raising children, volunteers and others expected to play complimentary roles for local public bodies as "ICT Human Resources." They are to be trained and utilized to become a body of "ICT Human Resources" and join initiatives to maintain and improve local public services that utilize information and communications technology (ICT). Furthermore, the MIC is recruiting separately for the Video Application Public Services Project.
1. Outline of Projects
(1) Where to Apply
Prefectures, special wards and municipalities (including some regional unions and professional associations) and their associated entities, as well as specified NGOs and the semi-public sector.
(2) Project Details
Train and utilize local NPOs and others as ICT Human Resources in the medical, nursing, welfare, disaster response, crime prevention and other public sectors while comprehensively supporting initiatives to create and increase the number of jobs locally and enrich local public services by introducing and utilizing ICT.
