From Wednesday, February 10 until Tuesday, March 9, 2010, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will solicit comments on the "Interim Summary (Draft) - Smart Cloud Strategy" under consideration by the Smart Cloud Study Group (chaired by Hideo MIYAHARA, Osaka University Professor Emeritus) and presided over by the Senior Vice-Minister of Internal Affairs.

1. How it Started

Since July 29, 2009, the Smart Cloud Study Group has met at the MIC with the purpose of comprehensively examining various issues arising from the growth of cloud technology and clarifying the direction of next-generation cloud technology.

With regards to this, comments will be solicited on the "Interim Summary (Draft) - Smart Cloud Strategy" by the study group as detailed below.
