The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has drawn up a bulletin plan for partial revision of bulletins establishing operation guides for radio engineer training courses and practice methods for examinations conducted at the close of courses in order to support the progress of Information and Communications Technology.
According an appeal for opinions on this bulletin plan will be held from January 26 (Wed) to February 25 (Fri), 2011.
1. Background
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) concluded that radio engineer training courses should cover the latest Information and Communications Technology trends, and together with reviewing lesson curriculum it has also studied operation guides and practice methods for examinations conducted at the close of courses (examinations conducted at the end of the reviewed curriculum) so as to make lesson contents easy to understand both for authorized engineers and students attending these training courses.
Based on this, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has drawn up a bulletin plan for partial revision of bulletins regulating operation guides for radio engineer training courses and practice methods for examinations conducted at the close of courses, and the MIC will now appeal for opinions on this plan.
2. Bulletin plan outline
(1) In the operation guide categorized according to lesson curriculum, the table of qualifications will be changed to basic matter and a table of technical items categorized according to field (four fields will be covered: marine qualifications, aviation qualifications, land qualifications, and amateur qualifications).
(2) Based on the latest Information and Communications Technology trends, items concerning the latest radio communication equipment and digital network connections will be added to lesson contents in response to qualifications, and at the same time the degree of relative priority in lesson contents will be reviewed.
(3) Reviews will be carried out for operation guides for radio engineer training courses and practice methods for examinations conducted at the close of courses.

Must arrive no later than 17:00 on February 25 (Fri), 2011 (mailed submissions must bear a postmark of no later than this date)

4. Schedule
Reform of the related laws and ordinances will be carried out in accordance with the opinions received.
