The Broadcast System Committee, Information and Communications Council Technology Subcommittee has been deliberating for its study of “Technical Requirements for the Safety and Reliability of Broadcasting” since December 2010, with a report due to be compiled in April 2010.
Accordingly, the meeting of the Broadcast System Committee, Information and Communications Council Technology Subcommittee (hereinafter, “the Committee meeting”) scheduled for February 21 (Mon), 2011 has been established as an opportunity for authorized persons to state their opinions, hence parties who wish to attend should report in line with the outline provided below.
1. Parties permitted to state their opinions on this matter
Persons (regardless of nationality) who are learned and have experience relating to “Technical Requirements for the Safety and Reliability of Broadcasting”
2. How to state opinions
The hearing of opinions is scheduled to be held on February 21 (Mon), 2011 at the Committee meeting and will be conducted in Japanese only.
3. Necessary procedure for statement of opinions
Those who are hoping to state their opinions on this matter should submit opinions in writing along with their full name (in the case of corporations and organizations (hereinafter, “corporations, etc.”), the following are to be submitted: names of corporations, etc., full names of representatives, and full names and positions of persons actually stating the corporations' opinions) and occupation (does not apply to corporations, etc.) by post, fax or e-mail, to arrive no later than 12:00 on February 18 (Fri), 2011. Necessary adjustments may be made in relation to deliberation times.
Please note that all expenses required for the statement of opinions are to be borne by the persons stating their opinions.
