The Central Emergency Communication Council (Chairman: Shun Sakurai, Director-General of the Telecommunications Bureau, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC)) will conduct the 20th Central Emergency Communication Council Commendation Ceremony at the 60th General Meeting of the Central Emergency Communication Council, which is to be held on February 22 (Tue), 2011.
1. Outline
The Central Emergency Communication Council Commendation Ceremony has been carried out since 1990 to commend individuals and organizations that have made excellent achievements in the implementation of emergency communication or in management of the Emergency Communication Council, with a view to ensuring the smooth practice of emergency communication.
2. Parties to be commended
The following four organizations will be commended at the 20th Central Emergency Communication Council Commendation Ceremony (details of the achievements that will be commended are as per the enclosed documents).
- Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. Amami Business Office, Kagoshima Branch
- Kenwood Corporation Wireless System Division, General Business Sales Department
- Special NPO FM Uken
- Special NPO D

3. Commendation Ceremony
(1) Date and time: from 15:30-15:50 on February 22 (Tue), 2011
(2) Venue: Conference Room, 10th floor, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (Central Government Building No. 2, Kasumigaseki 2-1-2, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)
*The Commendation Ceremony will be carried out during the 60th General Meeting of the Central Emergency Communication Council (15:30-17:30).
