The Information and Communications Council Technology Subcommittee, Radio Wave Utilization Environment Committee (Chief Investigator: Osamu Fujiwara, Professor at Faculty of Engineering, Nagoya Institute of Technology) has deliberated on the state of local absorption guidelines for frequencies of 3GHz and higher. As the Committee has now compiled a draft report, an appeal for opinions will be held from February 22 to March 23 (Wed), 2011, in the line with the outline described below.

Information and Communications Council Technology Subcommittee, Radio Wave Utilization Environment Committee (Chief Investigator: Osamu Fujiwara, Professor at Faculty of Engineering, Nagoya Institute of Technology) has deliberated on the state of local absorption guidelines for frequencies of 3GHz and higher, and this compiles the results of deliberation to date.
Please note that the “Radio Wave Utilization Environment Committee Draft Report” will be published in the “Reports and documents” area of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) website as well as in the “Public comments” section of the e-Gov coordinated electronic government website, and can also be inspected at the point of contact (the Radio Wave Utilization Environment Committee Secretariat).

A report will be compiled based on results from the appeal for opinions.
