On March 29, 2011, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) received a reply from Information and Communications Administration and Postal System Administration Council concerning "the approval of revisions to NTT East and NTT West Type 1 designated telecommunications equipment connection agreements (reform of subscription-based optical fiber connection fees in FY 2011 and beyond)" (Inquiry No. 3029 – dated January 25, 2011).
Based on the Council's reply, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will request NTT East and NTT West to take the necessary measures, and approval of this matter will be granted once there has been a revision application based on the applicable request from NTT East and NTT West.
1. Outline of revisions
This is for the revision of connection agreements to establish connection fees for optical signal terminal line transmission features, etc., in FY 2011 and beyond.

Based on the Council's reply, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will request NTT East and NTT West to take the necessary measures, and approval of this matter will be granted once there has been a revision application based on the applicable request from NTT East and NTT West.
