On March 31, 2011, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) approved revision of the FY 2010 Business Plan of Japan Post Service Co., Ltd. (CEO and President: Shinichi Nabekura) as outlined in an application received from the company dated February 15, 2011, based on regulations in Article 7 of the Act on Japan Post Service Co., Ltd. (Act No. 99 of 2005 Law).
Business Plan revisions and performance forecast modifications will be carried out in response to a predicted significant deterioration in the performance of Japan Post Service Co., Ltd. in FY 2010 in comparison with its FY 2010 Business Plan, which was approved on March 31, 2011, due to the business integration of Japan Post Service Co., Ltd. and JPExpress Co., Ltd.
