On March 31, 2011, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) approved an application from Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation (hereinafter, "NTT East") and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation (hereinafter, "NTT West") for the revision of connection agreements relating to Type I designated telecommunications equipment.
1. Outline
This is a revision of connection agreements to carry out the itemized arrangement of connection fee regulations concerning NTT East and West's Type I designated telecommunications equipment, in relation to declines in demand and features where equipment is approaching the limits of its maintenance.
2. Outline of revision, etc.
The enclosed documents contain an outline of connection agreement revisions and new-old connection agreement comparison tables.
3. Other
This matter is based on provisos, etc. in Article 169 of the Telecommunications Business Law (1984 Law No. 86), and is deemed as being of insufficient significance to warrant the submission of an inquiry to the Information and Communications Administration and Postal System Administration Council.
