On March 31, 2011, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) issued its approval of work that was outlined in an application from Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. (Company Director, CEO and President: Jiro Saito) dated February 28, 2011, based on regulations in Article 4, Item 2 of the Act on Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. (Act No. 99 of 2005 Law).
An outline of the work in the application from Japan Post Co., Ltd. is as follows.
Work outline
Establishment of postal system educational facilities at Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. and implementation of training business in order to carry out integrated level-specific training, etc. for the managers and officials of Japan Post Service Co., Ltd. and Japan Post Net Work Co., Ltd.
Purpose of work
Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. will establish postal system educational facilities and conduct training work to contribute to the smooth business operations of Japan Post Service Co., Ltd. by enabling implementation of the following:
- equalization of work-related knowledge within the Group, and efficient management ability training for managers and officials;
- maintenance of the effectiveness of policies tied together with organizational stimulation by means of interchanges between personnel at Head Office, etc. and on the front lines.
