The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) held an appeal for proposals for organizations to conduct its “Satellite Broadcasting Reception Countermeasure Project.”
This is to announce that, based on an assessment of proposal details by an assessment team comprising external experts, an organization has now been selected to conduct this project.
1. Project outline
This project will provide assistance to those who have established satellite broadcasting facilities for Japan Broadcasting Corporation (hereinafter, “NHK”) in locations that suffer poor reception of NHK's terrestrial television broadcasting.
2. Organization operating project
From February 21 to March 18, 2011, an appeal was held for proposals from organizations that hoped to carry out this project, in response to which one application was received. This proposal was assessed by an assessment team comprising external experts (see enclosed document for list of members), and based on this assessment the following organization was selected to carry out the project.
