On June 23, 2011, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) approved a vote on surplus appropriation in response to a request from Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, based on regulations stated in Article 11, Clause 1 of the Act on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. (Act No. 85 of 1984 Law; hereinafter, “the Act”).
A vote on the nomination of board members at the same Corporation was simultaneously approved, based on regulations stated in Article 10, Clause 2 of the Act.
