The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has established basic fee indexes determining the maximum rate levels for special telecommunications services offered by NTT East and NTT West, and on June 30 both companies were notified of this matter.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has established maximum rate levels (basic fee indexes) concerning fees for subscription telephones offered by each service division at NTT East and NTT West.
The MIC has established basic fee indexes to be adopted in the one-year period from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012 and has notified NTT East and NTT West of these matters (please refer to the enclosed documents for details of the notification).
The basic fee indexes for the next term, as NTT East and NTT West have been notified, were calculated from the rate of change in the consumer price index during FY 2010, and FY 2009's estimated rate of improvements in productivity (x value is to be adopted from October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2012; for details of the calculation of x, please refer to the related reports and documents listed below).
