Based on regulations in the Telecommunications Business Law, etc., the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) is requesting reports from telecommunications carriers regarding telecommunications incidents on and above a certain scale.
This is to announce that a report has now been compiled on the state of telecommunications incidents occurring during the second half of FY 2010 (October 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011).
Please note that interruptions to telecommunications services caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011 have not been included in the number of incidents.
