Public Appeal for Proposals in FY 2011 "Project Promoting Cooperative Business Administration Systems (Verification of Ways of Improving User-Friendliness for Mobile Phones as Means of Access)"

 The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) is making a public appeal for proposals to study technical problems, etc. in the implementation of access methods contributing to improved user-friendliness of personal identification in mobile phone services, with the aim of improving service providers and user-friendliness in the use of online services from mobile phones.


1. Project outline

(1) Parties to be commissioned
 Private-sector corporations (legally established corporations or non-profit organizations)

(2) Outline of commissioned project
 This project will conduct proof-of-concept with the purpose of selecting themes for the study of technical specifications for implementation of a foundational mobile access system through which mobile phones can access online services, as well as for technical verification, systems and application, based on survey and research results from the FY 2009 "research and study of the diversification of means of access to electronic administrative services, etc. (research and study of technology for mobile phones to access electronic administrative services, etc.)" (see reference materials), studying solution policy, and diffusing study results from standards organizations.

 From August 15 (Mon) to 17:00 on September 5 (Mon), 2011 (mailed submissions must also arrive by this date)
