Result of Appeal for Opinions on Partial Revision of Item Establishing Particulars of Telecommunications Number Regulations

  From July 7 to August 8, 2011, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) sought opinions on a bulletin plan for partial revision of the item establishing the particulars of telecommunications number regulations (1997 Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications Bulletin No. 574). However, no opinions on this matter were received.
  Based on the result of the appeal for opinions, revisions will be carried out promptly as per the original plan.


1. Outline of revision plan

  The bulletin will be partially revised in order to unify the telephone number divisions* of Shinhidaka Town, Hidaka District, Hokkaido Prefecture.

*Divisions denoting the range in which local calls can be made. Telephones in regions using the same number divisions can dial from local office numbers.


2. Results from appeal for opinions

  Opinions on this bulletin revision plan were sought from July 7 to August 8, 2011, but no opinions were received.


3. Schedule

  Based on the result of the appeal for opinions, revisions will be carried out promptly as per the original plan.
