Result of Acceptance of Requests for Authorization of Key Terrestrial Broadcasting Businesses for Mobile Reception carrying out V-High Multimedia Broadcasting

 From August 3 to September 2, 2011, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) accepted requests for authorization of key terrestrial broadcasting businesses for mobile reception carrying out broadcasting that utilizes frequencies that have become available with the digitalization of terrestrial television broadcasting, specifically that which uses frequencies between 207.5MHz and 222MHz (hereinafter, “V-High multimedia broadcasting”). A request was subsequently submitted by one party, an outline of which is officially announced herein.

2. Schedule

 This request will be examined and an inquiry will be submitted to the Radio Regulatory Council. After a reply has been received from the Council, this V-High multimedia broadcasting will promptly be authorized.
