From July 27 to September 2, 2011, the Information and Communications and Posts Administrative Council conducted an appeal for opinions concerning “Partial Revision of Telecommunications Business Law Enforcement Regulations.” As a result of this appeal, 13 opinions were received.
The Council will carry out study and deliberation based on these opinions, and will then report to the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications.
1. Background
From July 27 to September 2, 2011, the Information and Communications and Posts Administrative Council conducted an appeal for opinions on an inquiry from the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications concerning Partial Revision of Telecommunications Business Law Enforcement Regulations, based on regulations in the Law for Partial Revision of the Telecommunication Business Law and Act on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. (Act No. 58 of 2011 Law) came into existence at the 177th National Diet.
2. Submitted opinions
Please note that the contents of these opinions will be published in the “Public comments” section of the e-Gov coordinated electronic government contact website and made available for inspection at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) Information and Communications Bureau, General Affairs Division (11th Floor, MIC).
3. Schedule
The Council will carry out study and deliberation based on these opinions, and will then report to the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications.
