The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has drawn up a Bulletin Plan for Partial Revision of 2004 Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) Bulletin No. 88 (Item Establishing Test Procedure for Special Examinations).
Accordingly, opinions on this bulletin plan will be sought from September 17 (Sat) to October 17 (Mon), 2011.
1. Background to revision
Following the revision of Radio Equipment Regulations (1950 Radio Regulatory Council Regulation No. 18) and Regulations for Technical Standards Compliance Verification, etc. in Special Wireless Equipment (1981 Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications Order No. 37; hereinafter referred to as “Verification Regulations”) and the introduction of digital special radio microphones, etc., the MIC has decided to partially revise 2004 Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) Bulletin No. 88 (item establishing test procedure for special examinations) based on provisions in Verification Regulations annexed table 1.1(3).
2. Outline of bulletin plan
There will be revision of 2004 Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) Bulletin No. 88 (Item Establishing Test Procedure for Special Examinations), with amendment of test procedure relating to item (1) and the new addition of test procedure relating to item (2).
(1) Special radio microphones [special wireless equipment provided for in Verification Regulations Article 2, Clause 1, Item 1.12]
(2) Digital special radio microphones [special wireless equipment provided for in Verification Regulations Article 2, Clause 1, Item 1.12-2]
3. Outline of public appeal for opinions
Subject of appeal for opinions: Bulletin Plan for Partial Revision of Item Establishing Test Procedure for Special Examinations
Deadline for submission of opinions: Must arrive no later than 17:00 on October 17 (Mon), 2011 (mailed submissions must also arrive by this date)
Please note that the bulletin plan will be distributed via the contact address at the end of this document, and will also be published in the “Reports and documents” area of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) website (http://www.soumu.go.jp) and in the “Public comment” section of e-Gov (http://www.e-gov.go.jp), the electronic coordinated government contact website.
4. Schedule
The bulletin will promptly be revised based on the opinions received.
