From September 10 to October 11, 2011, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) held an appeal for opinions on a bulletin plan for partial revision of the item establishing the particulars of telecommunications number regulations (1997 Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications Bulletin No. 574). However, no opinions were submitted.
Based on this outcome, revisions will promptly be carried out in line with the original plan.
1. Outline of revision plan
| This bulletin will be partially revised in order to unify the telephone number divisions* of Okayama Prefecture, Okayama City and Kumenan-cho. |

Divisions denoting the range in which local calls can be made. Telephones in regions using the same number divisions can dial from local office numbers. |
2. Outcome of appeal for opinions
An appeal for opinions on this bulletin plan was held from September 10 to October 11, 2011, but no opinions were submitted.
3. Schedule
Based on this outcome, revisions will promptly be carried out in line with the original plan.
