2. Outline

　The Information and Communications Council Information Technology Subcommittee, Aviation and Maritime Radio Communication Committee has been considering “Technical Requirements for Wireless Equipment of VHF Band Aviation Wireless Telephones” since November 2011, and this report compiles the results of its studies to date.

　Please note that the “Aviation and Maritime Radio Communication Committee Draft Report” will be published in the “Reports and documents” area of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) website (http://www.soumu.go.jp) as well as in the “Public comments” section of the e-Gov coordinated electronic government website (http://www.e-gov.go.jp), and can also be inspected at the point of contact (Aviation and Maritime Radio Communication Committee Secretariat).

3. Deadline of appeal

　Must arrive no later than 10:00 on February 27 (Mon), 2012 (mailed submissions must also arrive by this date)

4. Points to bear in mind when submitting opinions

　Written opinions submitted, including information relating to the opinions therein, names of proponents (names of corporations, etc., where appropriate) and other contextual information, may be published at a future date.

　Also, please understand that we are unable to provide replies concerning each separate opinion.

5. Schedule

　A report will be compiled based on results from the appeal for opinions.
