From February 1, 2012, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold a public appeal for plans for image contents to be transmitted overseas through contractors, etc. in relation to the “Strengthening Overseas Information Transmission” project.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) is implementing a “Strengthening Overseas Information Transmission” project with the third revised budget for FY 2011.
“Strengthening Overseas Information Transmission” is a project for the production and overseas transmission of image contents with themes such as Japan's recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, etc., through Japan's international broadcasting networks and the promotion of internationally-shared production in order to restore people's impression of Japan after the recent disaster and to prevent the spread of misinformation that will damage Japan's financial interests, etc.
A public appeal will now be held for plans for image contents to be transmitted overseas through contractors, etc. in relation to this project.
