The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided on Kyowa Exeo Corporation (CEO & President: Kunio Ishikawa) as a registered frequency termination countermeasure organization to conduct special frequency termination countermeasure work covering personal wireless licensees.
In cases where expiry dates of less than five years have been established to provide quick support for new radio wave demands, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications provides fixed payments for existing users, with radio wave usage fees as the source of funds, through special frequency termination countermeasure work urging the abolition of independent radio stations and quick redistribution of radio waves.
This work is based on regulations in Article 29, Item 1 of the Rules for Special Frequency Modification and Termination work (2001 Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) Order No. 104), and is conducted by parties designated by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications from among those who have received registrations as registered special frequency termination countermeasure organizations.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) decided to conduct special frequency termination countermeasure work (hereinafter, “this termination countermeasure work”) covering personal radio licensees as set forth in 2011 MIC Bulletin No. 539 for the smooth establishment of radio stations for 3.9G mobile communications systems.
For this reason, on February 3, 2012, Kyowa Exeo Corporation (which had already received registration as a registered frequency termination countermeasure organization) was selected to conduct this termination countermeasure work.
This termination countermeasure work will begin during this fiscal year, after the procedure for approval of an implementation method for this work, etc.
