Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report from Mobile Communications System Subcommittee
“Technical requirements relating to migration of frequencies, etc. for special radio microphones” within the “technical requirements necessary for upgrading low-power wireless systems”
Information and Communications CouncilDepartment on Information and Communications Technology, Mobile Communications System Subcommittee(Chief Examiner: Makoto Ando, Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School of Engineering) has been considering “technical requirements relating to migration of frequencies, etc. for special radio microphones” within the “technical requirements necessary for upgrading low-power wireless systems” since January 2012.
The Subcommittee has now compiled a draft report, opinions on which will be sought from March 17 (Sat) to April 16 (Mon), 2012 as per the outline below.
1. Outline
Information and Communications CouncilDepartment on Information and Communications Technology, Mobile Communications System Subcommitteehas been considering “technical requirements relating to migration of frequencies, etc. for special radio microphones” within the “technical requirements necessary for upgrading low-power wireless systems” since January 2012, and has now compiled the results of its studies to date.
Please note that the “Mobile Communications System Subcommittee Draft Report” will be published in the “Reports and documents” area of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) website (
http://www.soumu.go.jp) and in the “Public comment” section of e-Gov (
http://www.e-gov.go.jp), the electronic coordinated government contact website. It will also be provided for inspection via the contact desk at the Mobile Communications System Subcommittee Office.
2. Period of appeal
Opinions must arrive no later than 12:00 on April 16 (Mon), 2012
3. Points to remember when submitting opinions
Written opinions submitted, including information relating to the opinions therein, names of proponents (names of corporations, etc., where appropriate) and other contextual information, may be published at a future date.
Also, please understand that we are unable to provide replies concerning each separate opinion.
4. Schedule
A report will be compiled based on results from the appeal for opinions.
