Approval of Modifications for Connection Agreements relating to Type 1 Designated Telecommunications Equipment of NTT East and NTT West (Revision of Connection Fees relating to Next Generation Network in FY 2012)

  On March 29, 2012, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) received a reply from the Information and Communications and Posts Administrative Council concerning “Approval of Modifications for Connection Agreements relating to Type 1 Designated Telecommunications Equipment of NTT East and NTT West (Revision of Connection Fees relating to Next Generation Network in FY 2012)” (Inquiry No. 3038 – dated January 23, 2012), stating its approval of the original plan. 　
  Based on the Council's reply, approval of this matter will be granted as of same day.

1. Outline of modifications

  Connection agreements for the following four features of NTT East and NTT West's Next Generation Network (NGN) will be revised to establish FY 2012 connection fees. 　
  1. General accommodation station router connection routing transmission feature (accommodation station connection feature) 　
  2. Gateway switch connection routing transmission feature (IGS connection feature) 　
  3. General relay station router connection routing transmission feature (relay station connection feature) 　
  4. Ethernet frame transmission feature (ethernet connection feature)
