Official Announcement of Notification Content for Objective Achievement Work of NTT East

1.Background

  According to the provision of Article 2, Paragraph 4, Item 1 of the NTT Act, in cases where NTT East intends to run any objective achievement work it must in advance notify the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications of matters that are provided for in ministrial ordinance. 　
  Based on this Ordinance, the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications has accepted a notification from NTT East dated April 11, 2012 concerning matters provided for in Article 1 of the Rules for Enforcement of the Act Concerning Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, Etc. (Ministerial Ordinance of MPT No. 23 of 1985; hereinafter, “NTT Act Enforcement Rules”). 　
  This has been officially announced today based on the provision of Article 2-3 of the NTT Act Enforcement Rules.
 

2. Content of business described in notification

  Refer to Attachment (it excludes information which is deemed to cause harm to the rights, competitive position or other legitimate interests)
 

3.Date for commencement of business

  The notification states that NTT East will commence this business on April 18 (Wed), 2012.
