Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report from Broadcasting System Subcommittee

Concerning “technical requirements for 23GHz-band radio transmission system” among “technical requirements for cable TV system”
  The Broadcasting System Subcommittee, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council (Chief investigator: Susumu Ito, Professor at Faculty of Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Science) has deliberated on the “requirements for 23GHz-band radio transmission system” among the “requirements for cable TV system” from October 2011. A draft report from the Broadcasting System Subcommittee was compiled this time and an appeal for opinions on this draft report will be held from May 10 (Wed) to June 8 (Fri), 2012.

2.Outline

  The Broadcasting System Subcommittee, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council has deliberated on the “technical requirement for 23GHz-band radio transmission system” among the “technical requirement for cable TV system” from October 2011 and compiled the results of past deliberations.
   The “draft report from the Broadcasting System Subcommittee” will be posted in the column of “press release” on the MIC website (http://www.soumu.go.jp) and the column of “public comments” on the e-government portal (e-Gov) (http://www.e-gov.go.jp) and also distributed at a counter of contact (Broadcasting System Subcommittee Head Office).
 

3.Deadline for appeal for opinions

  17:00PM on June 8 (Fri), 2012 (submissions by mail must arrive by this date)
 

4.Points to remember in submitting opinions

  Opinions, names of submitters (in the case of legal persons, their names) and information on other attributes in written opinions submitted may be officially announced later. Please be reminded that we are not able to give any individual answer to opinions submitted.
 

5.Future plans

  The Broadcasting System Subcommittee will compile a report based on results of this appeal for opinions.
