Authorization for Change of Interconnection Tariff concerning Category I Designated Telecommunications Facilities of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation

1.Background

  Necessary provisions are consolidated in the interconnection tariff to newly provide the flexible charging function (*) which has been provided by NTT East and NTT West (hereinafter NTT East and West) from the past to PHS carriers.

  *A function of realizing the flexible charging system by receiving a charging rate by call from an interconnection carrier with regard to calls for price setting for interconnection carriers which are transmitted from PSTN of NTT East and West and reach the interconnection carrier network and NTT East and West charge users in place of them based on this charging rate
 

2.Others

  This case is based on the proviso of Article 169 of the Telecommunications Business Act (Act No. 86 of 1984), etc. and was approved as a minor matter which does not require an inquiry to the Information and Communications and Posts Administrative Council.
