Hearing of Opinions from Parties Concerned on “Technical Requirements for Maritime Radars Using the 3-50MHz Band” among “Technical Requirements for Maritime Radiocommunication Equipment”
The Aviation and Maritime Radiocommunication Subcommittee, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communication Council has started to deliberate on “technical requirements for maritime radars using the 3-50MHz band” among “technical requirements for maritime radiocommunication equipment” and a report will be compiled by around December 2012.
An opportunity for parties concerned to state their opinions will be provided at the Aviation and Maritime Radiocommunication Subcommittee, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communication Council (hereinafter the “Subcommittee”) to be held on June 25 (Mon), 2012, 4PM. If you wish to participate in the Subcommittee, please make an application in accordance with the following guidelines.
1.Eligible parties concerned
Any person who has learning and experience or knowledge concerning “technical requirements for maritime radars using the 3-50MHz band” (No restrictions on nationality)
2.Method of statement of opinions
The statement of opinions will be held in Japanese at the Subcommittee to be held on June 25 (Mon), 2012, 4PM.
3.Necessary procedures for participating in statement of opinions
If anyone wishes to participate in the statement of opinions, please submit a document with name (in the case of any juridical person or organization (hereinafter “juridical person, etc.”), name of a juridical person, etc. and name of a representative, position and name of a person who participates in the statement of opinions) and occupation (not required in the case of any juridical person, etc.) of a person who participate in the statement of opinions as well as a digest of opinion to the following address by mail, FAX or E-mail no later than June 13 (Wed), 2012, 5PM. We may make necessary adjustments for reason of time for deliberation
All costs required for participating in the statement of opinions shall be borne by persons who participate in the statement of opinions.
