Official Announcement of Notification Content related to Objective Achievement Service of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation

1.Background

  According to the provision of Article 2, Paragraph 4, Item 1 of the NTT Act, in cases where NTT East and NTT West intend to run any objective achievement service, they must in advance notify the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications of the matters that are provided for in ministerial ordinance of MIC. 　
  Based on this provision, the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications has accepted the notifications from NTT East and NTT West dated May 29, 2012 concerning the matters provided for in Article 1 of the Rules for Enforcement of the Act Concerning Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, Etc. (Ministerial Ordinance of MPT No. 23 of 1985, hereinafter the “Rules for Enforcement of the NTT Act) 　
  On May 31, 2012, they are officially announced based on the provision of Article 2-3 of the Rules for Enforcement of the NTT Act.
 

2.Content of services described in notifications

  Refer to Attachments (it excludes information which is deemed to cause harm to the rights, competitive position or other legitimate interests)
 

3.Date for commencement of services

  The respective notifications state that NTT East and NTT West will commence their services on June 5 (Tue), 2012.
