Appeal for Opinions on Draft Official Directive for Partial Revision of Examination Standards related to the Radio Act

1.Background

  The MIC has compiled a draft official directive for partial revision of the examination standards related to the Radio Act concerning institutional improvement toward the introduction of 700MHz-band Intelligent Transport System for improving necessary provisions along with the promulgation and enactment of the Ministerial Ordinance for Partial Revision of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Act (Ministerial Ordinance of MIC No.162 of 2011), etc.
  An appeal for opinions on this draft official directive will be held.
 

2.Outline of draft official directive

  The related examination standards will be improved so that examinations are carried out smoothly in the licensing procedures related to the introduction of 700MHz-band Intelligent Transport System.
 

3.Guidelines for appeal for opinions

  (1) Subjects of appeal for opinions: Draft Official Directive for Partial Revision of the Examination Standards related to the Radio Act
  (2) Deadline for appeal for opinions July 9 (Mon), 2012, AM10:00 (submission of opinions by mail must also arrive by this date)
 

4.Future plans

  The MIC will swiftly revise the examination standards related to the Radio Act (Official Directive No.67 of 2001) based on opinions submitted.
