Appeal for Opinions on Draft Change of Interconnection Tariff Relating to Category I Designated Telecommunications Facilities of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation

1.Outline of draft change

  The interconnection tariff will be changed to establish connection charges, etc. related to main terminal lines of optical signals to which the multiyear tier charges are applied.
 

2.Guidelines for appeal for opinions

  Subject of appeal for opinions: Draft partial revision of the agreement clause relating to connections with category I designated telecommunications facilities based on Article 33, Paragraphs 2 and 7 of the Telecommunications Business Act
  Deadline for appeal for opinions: July 26 (Thu), 2012, 5:00PM (submission by mail must also arrive by this date)

  The subject of appeal for opinions will be posted in the column of “press release” on the MIC website (http://www.soumu.go.jp)and the column of “public comments” on the e-government portal (e-Gov) (http://www.e-gov.go.jp)and also distributed at the General Affairs Division, Information and Communications Bureau, MIC (2^nd Central Government Building 11F).
 
 

3.Future plans

  This draft change will be investigated and deliberated based on opinions submitted and a report will be sent to the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications.
