Approval of Establishment Plans for Specified Base Stations for Propagation of 3.9G Mobile Communications Systems
Specified base stations using frequencies between 773MHz and 803HMz
In response to the inquiry to the Radio Regulatory Council (Chairman: Tadaaki Maeda, Advisor to Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd.) concerning an approval of the establishment plans for specified base stations for propagation of 3.9G mobile communications systems, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) received a report on June 27, 2012 which states that the original plan was appropriate.
1.Outline
The MIC began to receiving applications for approval of establishment plans for specified base stations for propagation of 3.9G mobile communications systems from April 17 to May 25, 2012, and applications were submitted.
The MIC has examined these applications based on Article 27-13, Paragraph 4 of the Radio Act (Act No. 131 of 1950) and the examination standards prescribed in the guiding principle for establishment. As the result of making an inquiry on an approval of the three applications for establishment plans to the Radio Regulatory Council, the MIC received a report stating the original plan was appropriate.
2.Future plans
The MIC approves the three establishment plans applied as follows by assigning their frequencies based on the report submitted by the Radio Regulatory Council.

- NTT DOCOMO, INC.: 783MHz ~ 793MHz
- KDDI CORPORATION / Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company: 773MHz ~ 783MHz
