Authorization for Changes of Agreement Clause concerning Telegram Services of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation

1.Background

  NTT East and NTT West applied for changes of the telegraph service agreement clause in order to transfer loans relating to telegram service charges to NTT Finance Corporation (hereinafter “NTT Finance”) and to enable NTT Finance to charge the users for telegram service.
 

2.Others

  This case was approved as a minor matter which does not require an inquiry to the Information and Communications and Posts Administrative Council based on the proviso of Article 94 of the Telecommunications Business Act (Act No.86 of 1984), etc. before the revision pursuant to the provision of Article 2 of the Act for Partial Revision of the Telecommunications Business Act and the Act Concerning Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, Etc. which shall remain in force pursuant to the provision of Article 5, Paragraph 1 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Telecommunications Business Act.
