Start of Receipt of Applications for FY2012 Project to Dispatch “Local ICT Managers”
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will dispatch “Local ITC Managers” with practical and technical know-how, etc. for a certain period of time to regions that are considering efficient and effective operation of projects by using and utilizing ICT in local communities. The MIC will hold a public appeal for projects of local public bodies that want to receive the dispatch of local ICT managers.
1.Outline
(1) Subjects of public appeal
The public appeal targets any of the following organizations.
- Local public body
- Semi-public corporation or specified nonprofit corporation (NPO) that operates joint projects with local public body
(2) Content of project to dispatch local ICT managers
Local ICT managers will be dispatched by any of the following classifications based on applications from local public bodies, etc.
The MIC nominates local ICT managers to be dispatched and bears rewards and travel expenses related to the dispatch.
i) Start-up dispatch
The dispatch of local ICT managers who take charge of summarizing issues and providing advice, suggestions and information to local public bodies, etc. that are considering new trials utilizing ICT in local communities
ii) Follow-up dispatch
Dispatch of local ICT managers who take charge of providing follow-ups of individual issues, specific advice and information to local public bodies, etc. that are implementing efforts utilizing ICT in local communities
(3) Period for dispatch From the date on which the dispatch is decided to the end of February 2013
2.Submission of application documents
(1) Period for submission
From July 2 (Mon), 2012 to July 30 (Mon), 2012, by 3:00PM without fail (In case of submission by mail, it must reach us no later than this date.)
(2) Submission method
Please prepare for necessary documents in accordance with the “guidelines for public appeal for FY2012 Project to Dispatch Local ICT Managers” and submit them by e-mail, mail or hand to one of the Regional Bureaus of Telecommunications.
