
Results of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Public Notice Specifying Range of Frequencies Available as Specified Experimental Stations, etc.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to review the range of frequencies available as specified experimental stations, etc. based on Article 7, Item (v) of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Act (Radio Regulatory Commission Rules No. 14 of 1950), and held an appeal for opinions on this draft public notice specifying the range of frequencies available as specified experimental stations, etc. from May 30 to June 28, 2012. One opinion was submitted in response to this appeal for opinions, and it is published herein.
1.Background
The Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications publicly notifies frequencies of specified experimental stations, available areas, period etc. pursuant to the provision of Article 7, Item (v) of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Act.
Recently, the MIC has decided to review the range of frequencies available as specified experimental stations, etc. and held an appeal for opinions from May 30 to June 28, 2012.
2.Future plans
The MIC will swiftly enact the public notice based on the opinion submitted.
