Official Announcement of “FY2011Collection of Case Studies of Use and Utilization of ICT in Local Area”
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has compiled “FY2011 Collection of Case Studies of the Use and Utilization of ICT in the Local Area” based on the past budgeted projects so that it can be used as reference to efforts for the use and utilization of ICT contributing to the solution of regional issues, and officially announces herein.
In addition, the MIC has formulated “FY2011 Specifications for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Human Resources” so that it can be used as reference to efforts toward the introduction of information and communications systems in local public bodies, etc., and also officially announces herein.

1.Background
The MIC has implemented the budgeted projects to promote efforts for the use and utilization of ICT contributing to solving various regional issues (projects for the use and utilization of ICT in the local area).The MIC has also strived to solve regional issues and promote the use and utilization of ICT nationwide by disseminating the achievements obtained in those projects in the entire country.
As part of the above-mentioned efforts, the “FY2011 Collection of Case Studies of the Use and Utilization of ICT in the Local Area” has been complied based on the past budgeted projects, and it is officially announced herein.
In addition, the “FY2011 Specifications for ICT and Human Resources” has been formulated so as to be used as reference to efforts toward the introduction of information and communications systems in local public bodies, etc., and it is also officially announced herein.
