
Results of Appeal for Opinions on Draft Official Directive for Partial Revision of Examination Standards related to the Radio Act
Institutional improvement toward introduction of 700MHz-band intelligent transport system
From June 9 to July 9, 2012, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) held an appeal for opinions on a draft official directive for partial revision of the examination standards related to the Radio Act for the purpose of carrying out institutional improvement toward the introduction of the 700MHz-band intelligent transport system. One opinion was submitted in response to this appeal for opinions and the opinion submitted and MIC’s views on it are officially announced herein.
The MIC will revise the examination standards related to the Radio Act (Official Directive of MIC No.67 of 2001) based on the result of the appeal for opinions.
1.Outline of draft revision
The MIC will revise the examination standards related to the Radio Act such as the addition of related examination standards so that examinations are smoothly conducted in the procedures for licensing related to the introduction of the 700MHz-band intelligent transport system.
2.Future plans
The MIC will revise the examination standards related to the Radio Act based on the result of the appeal for opinions.
