Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report from the Subcommittee on Electromagnetic Environment for Radio-wave Utilization
“Tolerance and measurement method related to outdoor use of broadband power line communications facilities” among “various standards of the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR)”
The Subcommittee on Electromagnetic Environment for Radio-wave Utilization (Chief investigator: Osamu Fujiwara, Professor of Nagoya Institute of Technology Research Center for Engineering Project), Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council has investigated and deliberated on “tolerance and measurement method related to outdoor use of broadband power line communications facilities” among “various standards of the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR).”
A draft Subcommittee report has been compiled and an appeal for opinions on this draft report will be held from July 26 (Thu) to August 27 (Mon), 2012 in accordance with the following guidelines.

The Subcommittee on Electromagnetic Environment for Radio-wave Utilization, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council has investigated and deliberated on “tolerance and measurement method related to outdoor use of broadband power line communications facilities” among “various standards of the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR), and compiled a draft Subcommittee report on the results of the past investigations and deliberations.
The draft Subcommittee report will be posted in the column of “press release” on the MIC website (http://www.soumu.go.jp) and the column of “public comments” on the e-government portal (e-Gov) (http://www.e-gov.go.jp), and also provided for inspection at the counter of contact (Subcommittee on Electromagnetic Environment for Radio-wave Utilization Secretariat).

4.Points to remember in submitting opinions
Opinions submitted, names of persons who submitted opinions (in the case of legal persons, their names) and information on other attributes may be officially announced later. Please be reminded that we are not able to give any individual answer to opinions submitted.

The MIC will compile a report based on results of the appeal for opinions.
