Appeal for Opinions on Review of “Action Plan for Spectrum Reallocation”

1.Background and purpose

  The MIC has formulated the “Action Plan for Spectrum Reallocation” since FY2004 and revised and officially announced it every fiscal year with a view to show specific efforts for smoothly and steadily following up a specific reallocation of frequencies based on the assessment results of the Surveys on Actual Radio Spectrum Usage.
   The MIC will review the “Action Plan for Spectrum Reallocation (revised version of September 2011)” based on the assessment results (July, 2012) of the FY2011 Surveys on Actual Radio Spectrum Usage (targeting bandwidth lower than 770MHz).

  September 26 (Wed), 2012, PM5:00 (submissions by mail must also arrive by this date)
 

4.Future plans

  The MIC will officially announce the Action Plan for Spectrum Reallocation (revised version of October 2012) based on opinions submitted on the draft Action Plan without delay and steadily implement specific efforts for each frequency segment.
  The Action Plan for Spectrum Reallocation will be reviewed based on the assessment results of the Surveys on Actual Radio Spectrum Usage conducted every fiscal year.
