Approval of Change of Interconnection Tariff Relating to Category I Designated Telecommunications Facilities of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation (Establishment of Entry Menu related to Connection Charges of Subscriber Optical Fiber Cable)

Report from the Information and Communications and Posts Administrative Council
  On September 4, 2012, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has receive from the Information and Communications and Posts Administrative Council a report on “approval of Change of Interconnection Tariff Relating to Category I Designated Telecommunications Facilities of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation (Establishment of entry menu related to connection charges of subscriber optical fiber cable)” (Inquiry No.3044 of June 26, 2012) to the effect that it is appropriate to be approved as inquired.
  Based on the above-mentioned report, the MIC approves this case as of September 4, 2012.

1.Outline of change

  The interconnection tariff will be changed to establish connection charges, etc. related to main terminal lines of optical signals to which the multiyear tier charges are applied.
