
Decision on Dispatch Destination of FY2012 “Local ICT Managers”
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will implement the FY2012 Project to Dispatch “Local ITC Managers” with practical and technical know-how, etc. to regions that are considering efficient and effective operation of projects by using ICT. The MIC held a public appeal for projects of local public bodies from July 2 to July 30, 2012 that hope to receive the dispatch of local ICT managers. As a result, 16 organizations will be supplied with dispatch and local ICT managers to be dispatched have been decided. They are officially announced herein.
1.Outline of the Project to Dispatch Local ICT Managers
(1) Dispatch destination
- Local public bodies
- Semi-public corporation or specified nonprofit corporation (NPO) that operates joint projects with local public bodies
(2) Content of Project to Dispatch Local ICT Managers
Local ICT managers will be dispatched for any of the following classifications based on applications from local public bodies, etc.
The MIC nominates local ICT managers to be dispatched and bears rewards and travel expenses related to the dispatch.
i) Start-up dispatch
The dispatch of local ICT managers who take charge of summarizing issues and providing advice, suggestions and information to local public bodies, etc. that are considering trials utilizing ICT in local communities
ii) Follow-up dispatch
Dispatch of local ICT managers who take charge of providing follow-ups of individual issues, specific advice, and information to local public bodies, etc. that are making efforts utilizing ICT in local communities
(3) Period for dispatch
September 2012 to the end of February 2013
