Technical requirements for maritime radars using the 3-50MHz band
The Aviation and Maritime Radiocommunication Subcommittee, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communication Council (Chief investigator: Tetsuya Miki, Specially Appointed Professor, Planning and Investigation Office, the University of Electro-Communications) has deliberated on the “technical requirements for maritime radars using the 3-50MHz band” since May 2012.
A draft report from the Subcommittee is now compiled and an appeal for opinions on this draft report will be held from November 7 (Wed) to December 6 (Thu), 2012.

The Aviation and Maritime Radiocommunication Subcommittee, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communication Council has deliberated on the “technical requirements for maritime radars using the 3-50MHz band” since May 2012, and compiled the past deliberation results.
“The draft report from the Maritime Radiocommunication Subcommittee” will be posted in the column of “press release” on the MIC website (http://www.soumu.go.jp) and the column of “public comments” on the e-government portal (e-Gov) (http://www.e-gov.go.jp) and also distributed at the counter of contact (Aviation and Maritime Radiocommunication Subcommittee Secretariat).

December 6 (Thu), 2012, 5:00PM (must arrive) (submissions by mail must also arrive by this date)
4.Points to remember in submitting opinions
As for written opinions submitted, opinions, names of persons who submitted opinions (in the case of legal persons, their names) and information on other attributes may be officially announced later.
Please be reminded that the MIC is not able to give any individual answer to opinions submitted.

A report will be compiled based on results of the appeal for opinions.
