Appeal for Opinions on Draft Ministerial Ordinances, etc. for Partial Revision of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Broadcast Act, etc.

  The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold an appeal for opinions on draft ministerial ordinances for partial revision of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Broadcast Act, etc. from November 22 (Thu) to December 21 (Fri), 2012, before the license for 2013 is reissued to core broadcasting stations.

1.Background of revision

  As the current license for core broadcasting stations will expire on October 31, 2013, related provisions will be improved before accepting and examining applications for reissuance of license, and related provisions will be improved or abolished accompanied by the termination of terrestrial analogue TV broadcasting.
 

2.Future plans

  Ministerial ordinances, etc. will be swiftly revised based on opinions submitted.
