Official Announcement of Notification Content related to Objective Achievement Business of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation

1. Background

　　According to the provision of Article 2, Paragraph 4, Item 1 of the NTT Act, in cases where NTT East intends to operate any objective achievement business, it may in advance notify the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications of matters that are provided for in Ministerial Ordinance of MIC.
　　Based on this provision, NTT East has submitted a written notification of matters provided for in Article 1 of the Rules for Enforcement of the Act Concerning Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. (Ministerial Ordinance of MPT No. 23 of 1985) dated November 30, 2012. On December 4, 2012, it is officially announced based on the provision of Article 2-3 of the Rules for Enforcement of the NTT Act.

　　The notification states that NTT East will commence the service on December 7 (Fri), 2012.
